Australia broke a new temperature record for the winter season with an impressive 41.6C recorded at the Yampi Sound military camp on the country and #39;s north-west coast. This is 0.4°C above the previous record of 41.2°C set in August 2020 at West Roebuck in the same region. The Australian Meteorological Center has announced that this new record is, for now, only 'temporary'. Before it and #39;s officially confirmed, researchers will analyze the data to make sure it and #39;s not a local anomaly or a technical glitch.
