The business community supports raising the minimum wage, either in line with productivity or to counter the effects of inflation, but argues that an increase should be made from 1 January 2024, not 1 October 2023, as companies have already set their budgets of salaries for this year, the Concordia Employers and #39; Confederation says in a press release.
